In Grade 8 Band

We've been busy practicing our concert songs this last week.  They are sounded really good and hopefully will improve even more for the concert.  The pieces we will be playing are Spania, Chesapeake Serenade, Chant and Tribal Dance and Drums on the Housetop.

Our dress rehearsal is the same day as our regular full band class which is good so students just need to make sure to have their instrument and music ready for Tuesday.  Students don't need to wear their concert dress for the dress rehearsal but do need to wear their band shirts, black pants or skirt, black socks or leggings and black shoes.

We will also be doing school tours on Friday, December 13 in the afternoon at Grant Road School.  They need to wear their band t-shirts for this performance.
